FYI for Developers, Chimera on 12.4 switches to BSD Utilities, and switches the default shell to ZSH Bash is still available for compatibility purposes for now, but will be removed when bash is removed from macOS

As the success rate appears to be good enough on A9 - A11 on 12.4, we recommend all users on A9 - A11 devices to update to 12.4!

Chimera 1.2.9 is now available! This bundles the package updates that were pushed after 1.2.8, and should fix issues with installing certain packages (such as NewTerm or Anemone 3)

If sockpuppet fails once on 12.4, retry it without rebooting. It usually succeeds the 2nd time if it fails the first.

12.0 - 12.2 users are recommended to save 12.4 blobs, but not to update at this time. 12.4 has a lower success rate on the exploit at the moment.

For those who used the BSD Utils beta repo, there was an error with the packaging. This has been corrected, but there is no upgrade path. Please rootfs restore and then re-update. We apologize for the inconvenience. Users who did not install the beta repo are not affected.

Sileo Beta 1.2.9b1 is available on the Electra/Chimera repos. This is a separate package that installs alongside of Sileo (you'll have 2 icons; "Sileo" and "Sileo Beta"). Repos and Packages are managed by APT. Sources added to Sileo will show up in Sileo Beta, and vice-versa
