There is no good answer, and the more rural or poor your district the harder it gets. How do you go online in a rural distinct when a signification portion of the students don't have home internet access or a library in walking distance?

As regards education and
#COVID19, there needs to be different approaches for different age groups. Clearly, most, if not all, academic content for middle school on up could be handled completely online. Not so much for K-6. Unfortunately, the same communities who don't have equitable access to internet or devices are the ones whose schools don't have the funding/resources necessary to reopen safely.

My 13 year old daughter was stricken with rheumatic fever previously so we can't risk her safety by having her exposed to Covid. We are going to take our school district's virtual option for the foreseeable future.

No good answers. We’re going to keep ours home and my wife will likely lose her income and we aren’t quite sure how we’ll make that work right now. Everywhere is trying to cut back. But the health and safety of my kids is something I’ll put before anything else, every time.
