Thank you for the question. I sent out a press release regarding the very incident of Chief Shelide the day I heard of it. He should not have a job. The investigation should have been done externally and looked into his hiring, firing, and arresting practices of his department.

The New Baltimore Police Department had a similar incident and let the officer go almost immediately after an investigation.
