I am saddened to see that the Shelby Township Board of Trustees ONLY gave a 30 day suspension and sensitivity training for Chief Shelide. A full OUTSIDE investigation should have been conducted BEFORE any decision was made.

He should’ve been forced to resign! This is what’s part of the problem
The City of New Baltimore had almost exactly the same incident and fired that police officer immediately.
