    Really interesting and thoughtful discussion at of the successes and challenges of dual-blind proposal evaluation, which has been successful for observational programs but would be more challenging to implement for theory and instrument dev proposals.

    Similar megafloods once happened on Mars, around 3.5 billion years ago. Unlike in the Mediterranean, the resulting geology hasn’t been affected much by further wet episodes, and is mappable from orbit.
