A fairly important addendum to this: merely building those features doesn’t make your product ready & useful for the Enterprise. The core product has to actually be valuable (not just useful) for large companies too. A trap is assuming it’s destined to be.

Great points. It is critical to have native integrations to other large enterprise software. Also ensure there is an implementation (Professional Services) team. So true about the paperwork. Be prepared to complete a 100 page RFP.
