Like a child waiting expectantly for santa, I stand by my window looking for my weekly foodstuffs delivery.
One could suspect that an API call to fetch the timeline fails, which then interpreted as "Oh, must be a new user. Welcome to Twitter!"

-they removed angry birds 1
- people got mad
- they brought it back as a paid game
- people decided to buy it instead of spending money on microtransactions of their other games
- they are now removing it bc they want people to buy microtransactions
