Here's a great idea. Let's take a group of men who feel marginalized by society, then--because a subset of them are toxic and misogynistic--isolate them and treat them as a social disease. That won't make the problem worse at all.

Yeah, their views and expressions of anger/misogyny should not be normalized or allowed. But, many of these men on the alt-right/incel spectrum are open and wanting to be back in the mainstream of society. They need therapy, not further marginalization.
-
Their views and expressions of anger should not be normalized: agreed. Should not be allowed? Completely disagree. Opinions and expressions are free and must remain free.
-
I phrased it poorly. I don't mean they should be fired or arrested. I just meant it shouldn't be normalized or defended when they act in very harmful ways. But, as someone who has felt the same bitterness they have, I can relate. Unfortunately, they blamed all of society.
-
this is stereotyping. incel just means involuntary celibate and is no broader than that, you don't have to be bitter and anti-social to be bad at the dating game
-
I'm bad at the dating game. You don't see me writing manifestos and killing women like Elliot Rodgers. Lots of people have romantic/social struggles. Most people, unlike them, don't project it in violent ways.
-
I'd imagine that most people who can't get laid don't talk about it at all. This tweet is moronic.
-
That's because they don't talk in self-reflective terms like that. It's abundantly clear when someone is making that point though -- the resentment, the misogyny, etc.

I can't imagine a more useless moronic tweet. Granted, I'll see another one in about 10 minutes, but you've got it for now

It's soooooooooooooo disheartening to see so many people actually take this question seriously in the replies.
-
I see rightful disrespect to the question
-
A lot of the sane comment disrespectful to the question were made right after I made that tweet. Before that, there were only 16 responses and a majority of them were taking her seriously. Glad that the tides have turned and this has given me my humor for the day.
-
What is sickening to me is this question was made by a blue checker these blue check Twitter idiots tend to be seen as policy makers or some such.
-
Well this one in particular was the former CEO of Reddit and fucked it up so I have a particularly strong distaste for her
-
And why emphasis on "BIG TECH COMPANIES"? Does that mean manual labor incels are given a pass? Or is this an effort for rich latte sipping techies to make sure they are even MORE segregated from"undesirables"? Walled off from the unwashed & smelly real world in their tech parks?

Corporations have sensitivity training, now they'll have "how to get laid" training

HR should be replaced by pick up artists

If you rolled up to any bar/club outside of the depraved cesspool that is LA wearing this you’d probably get knocked out

The only reason he got so much pussy is because he went out literally every night and hit on every girl in the bar

As a gay guy, I do not understand what these women see in douches like this
