If what you are saying is true (and obviously you’re naively euphoric about it), then this Putin is about to enable the entrenchment of Turkish troops on Syrian land, and then an eventual annexation of those land. When are you going to employ more critical thinking here?!

There comes a time when it's better to be pragmatic. The war is not ending. Every time it looks like it may get close, someone escalates. Turkey is already entrenched. If they lose their footing, they will double down again. It makes all the human suffering for nothing.
