Thank you for reading =] I thought I was going nuts with the amount of sheer positivity I was seeing online. The more realistic assessment is that some things are good, and some things are still bad. (But maybe people don't want to be reminded?)

Haha, go see the Malaysiakini opinions page (malaysiakini.com/en/latest/colu) I've been reloading for days, waiting for some critical analysis. But everything is written from the Inside View, as if anything can happen tomorrow.

My conclusion is that maybe the writers — who arguably know better than most of us — don't want to spoil the mood yet. But some historical context and analysis from the Outside View would be really welcomed.
