Is it ok to "roast" How Asia Works now? Basically the book lays out a roadmap for building the East Asian economic miracle. But the conditions for that are not present in any other developing country, so the entire book is pointless

Even if you read it as a history book and not as an advice book, it's not very strong because it provides a monocausal explanation for a really complex cluster of events.
