One of the things that Rand Spiro told me is that “you want to look for surprising similarities and surprising differences when learning about cases in the real world.” I’d not thought about the note-taking implications of that, but, hmm!

Right now I'm reading the case studies from @ejames_c's Commoncog Case Library, and in this context QCE does not work. Instead, I want compare the cases to tease out the differences between them. That requires a different approach to writing about what I'm reading.
