Different use cases require different approaches to note-taking.
I'm a big fan (and proponent) of the Question-Claim-Evidence framework that has written about extensively.
But it doesn't fit every context:

Right now I'm reading the case studies from 's Commoncog Case Library, and in this context QCE does not work.
Instead, I want compare the cases to tease out the differences between them.
That requires a different approach to writing about what I'm reading.
