Good god, picture books.
(Although probably the equivalent today is going to YouTube and typing ‘Venice’, but I suppose you don’t get the combination of maps and photographs that give you a sense of the space?)
YT is terrible for generic keywords (you'll mostly find endless 10 minute overproduced clickbait), but (almost seriously) life changing if you know how to pick the good ones out.
Plus for non-fiction probably even better than audiobooks (especially if one feels they are too lifeless), watch a few 1h+ long lecture/interview by the author, and you get a very in depth summary of their ideas/books.
