You know, I’ve read many great business biographies over the years, and I can’t for the life of me think of one that is a good book about management for systems engineering-y projects.

I enjoyed Railroader — which is about railroad genius Hunter Harrison, but the kind of project management he oversaw was a redesign of the railroad’s systems, to run faster and better (while not giving up on safety). So I’m not sure if it counts.
