Having played more with gpt, dalle etc now, truly feels like the big remaining jumps to AGI or -esque are a) ability to link the things it talks about to the physical realm (robots!) and b) creating a motivation layer that uses the specialist algos to get things done.

Also think there's a trillion dollar startup in taking the current algos and linking them to physics engines and actual robots to teach physicality, specific objects and what rhey are, and navigating the real world.
