has anyone studied how UI designers use mental imagery before they put stuff on the page? (if they have the faculties?)
I run some sort of constraint problem in my head guided by fuzzy intentions, which results in me picturing some "GAN'd" screens.

So a clear focus on the fuzzy images conjured up by the thought of implementing a certain UI. Would be fascinating to see an ACTA (commoncog.com/blog/an-easier, h/t ) of UI designers and see the difference between more backend focused engineers.
