How come mainstream media is ‘clickbait’ but Joe Rogan’s sensationalist podcast is providing a forum for the cancelled?

If joe rogan has a bigger audience than the NYT then by definition isn’t he now ‘mainstream media’ and people who appear on his show by definition aren’t cancelled?
