I only buy paper books when I can’t find a digital version.
Consequently, all my paper books are second hand, reprints of old editions, or out of print.
Consequently, all my paper books have horrible typography.
Sigh.

I also buy paper books as my digital-backup (books I love and will read multiple times). Nice to have a copy for home as well.

Trying to switch to digital *mostly*
Reduces clutter on my limited bookshelf and makes me really want to keep the best ones for actual reference

iOS has a good document scanning / photo OCR experience… which I use when merging my reading notes from physical books into my digital process. Maybe give it a go?
