Funny how so many tech leaders started dabbling with web3 in the last few months, and then are eager to share opinions without looking at the years of work being done to tackle these issues. Is it a lack of curiosity about where all this could go?

I'd say the disappointment the web3 space has with tech leaders is their cynical pessimism instead of excited curiosity about where this could go.
Same vibe as Armstrong dismissing SpaceX. It made Elon sad but he pushed on

Given their huge platforms, much better take would be to show how they think e.g. projects like fails to address centralization issues of infura. At least that would push state of discourse forward rather than rehashing issues talked about in the web3 space for years
