Having been a student overseas, I have a feeling the strategy is "selling everything a student would need". Whether it's an international student or a local student moving to the halls, this will make things convenient. That's why they have printers, kettles, etc.

Also, I can imagine a housewife buying textbooks for their child and quickly buying a frying pan. But yeah, curious strategy. I've been mulling over how far one should take JTBD vs info architecture. This seems to be a decision made from JTBD principles? Our next discussion!

Actually, selling frying pans in a TOY store would be a good idea. Parents always need one, and if they are in a toy store with a child picking out a toy, they likely don't have time to shop for one and would appreciate being able to browse for what they need.
