The more interesting idea, to me, that falls out of that passage (and all of Klein’s subsequent work) is to be wary of mental tools that work against the grain of the mind.

Tools for thought, half a century of trying to get adoption, half a century of failing. There's a need for a meta-literature on not how people decide, think, or remember, but on why they or do not adopt tools to help them do that. Retention remains a substantial issue.
