I think this is the first time I’ve seen spaced repetition used in a plausibly useful way in programming.

This is interesting — what could cloze deletion do for you that autocomplete (+ spelunking through the docs) couldn't? Most good devs I know seem to get good by doing the latter.

Spelunking through the docs takes forever, it's like reading the biology textbook every time you're trying to do an experiment. For autocomplete to work you need to a) know _what_ to type so you get the correct autocomplete and b) still takes longer than
