This is a great point — the concept of a CAS seems also to be useful when you're doing product ops.
(And Chris should know — he's very believable in the domain).

This is why you see interesting models within domains like economics, biology, etc. is because complexity is understood in context of the domain but not inter-domain, yet.
I approach the work I do in #productops as pushing a CAS (the org) towards states we would like.
