Imagine if you applied this to, say, personal knowledge management, or marketing: 1. Ask about a specific problem that you have. 2. Give context about the output that you're going for. 3. Demand answers from experience so you can gauge the credibility of the person giving it.

It's astonishing how bad people are at asking for help. In my courses I teach people how to ask for help, and even then I get emails like "X is not working, please help" and nothing more. Dude, can I see what's on your screen right now?!

I really wonder what's going on when people do this. Are they too much in consumption mode to switch to problem solving? Have they never been properly taught his? (My teaching on this might suck!) Is it entitlement? Instant gratification? Pure laziness? I have no clue.
