I've been stuck in the SME loop a lot
It goes: see problem → solve problem → get $ from solving problem → realize that solution can't scale → be unable to grow because you're tied up with servicing customers

I think every SME feels this! (Or, as so aptly puts it, no small business stays small by choice; there’s usually some kink in the system that prevents growth.)
