Very interesting article! For a different twist on which game to play, I will recommend the book "Finite and Infinite Games" by James P. Carse. If you haven't read the book, I think you will greatly enjoy it -- the book goes well with many of your writings.

That *is* on my toread — and has been for the longest time. Have you read it? Do you have thoughts?

Yes, I have read it -- after the Bible, it has been the second most important book I've ever read! (I've read close to 1,000 books haha.)

Carse divides games into two types: Finite and infinite. Each have their own set of rules, which allows you to understand which game you are playing. In an oversimplification, finite games are played to win -- whereas infinite games are played to continue the game.
