A scrub is a player who isn't playing to win. That is, they're trying to play a more difficult version of some game.
By this definition, a maestro is a scrub who wins.
There’s actually a fractally deep discussion to be had about this topic, and maybe I should do a twitter thread about it?
I can do at least 10 cycles of argument and counter-argument for and against scrub behaviour.
