One of the ideas that I’ve been playing with for months is this notion that maybe Kevin Feige is a Cornered Resource.
Evidence: everyone else in the movie business is trying to create a cinematic universe, and everyone else is failing.

Context: Cornered Resource here refers to one of Hamilton Helmer’s 7 Powers. It’s a durable competitive moat.
I don’t know how Feige is able to do what he does, or if it’s something else, but there’s something about Marvel that nobody else can seem to replicate.

I really wish someone (maybe Kevin Feige) will write a Marvel Studio version of the book Creativity, Inc. It’s amazing to see how they have put out all those movies and have so many more lined up (while DC has been struggling).
