I think one of the hardest things to do in business and in life is to see the present moment clearly.
I mean, this is sort of hokey and weird. It's not tactical. It's not about the meta. But it's timeless and important.
To me, Tom's interview was about that.

Of course, I'm not saying that this was all Jim and Tom were talking about. I'm probably going to pick up different things from it when I relisten in a few months, or in a few years.

But on my run yesterday, I thought that so much of the undercurrent in the conversation was two minds sharing with each other their life-long struggle to 'see the present moment clearly'.
And that is why I think this podcast was ... transcendent.
Highly recommended.
