Daniel Kahneman has repeatedly said for years that he is no more immune to biases and errors than anyone else, even though he thinks about them all day.

I was deeply seduced by the idea of learning mental models and getting smarter (reading your article put an end to that) but I never believed in learning lists of cognitive biases in order to be less biased.
