Twitter bug-eating discourse is weird because they're treating eating bugs as if it were some modern anomaly being thrust upon them rather than a perfectly normal feature of many cuisines.

I'm not going to claim bugs are amazingly delicious. They've ranged from fine to not that great when I've had them. But they're not some dark dystopian horror, they're just an ingredient you have to get used to like most others.
