One of the unexpected side effects of using the Ghost blogging engine is that it’s harder to put in footnotes. I used to write with a lot of footnotes. Whole-mini-blog-post-inside-of-a-footnote style of footnotes. Now I can’t, so I don’t. Still unsure if benefit or drawback.

Nah it was always Ghost. It’s just that Ghost 2 was pure markdown, and Ghost 3 was a more fancy WYSIWYG editor that made footnotes more difficult to write. So footnotes went away.

Funny story: when I was running Ghost 2, I deployed it on a Kubernetes cluster. Yes, I was That Guy.
