I think it’s more like, we are constantly orienting — building models in our heads of the territory. At the heart of competitive strategy is the question: “how do you mess with your opponent’s orientation?” This is holistic, and may take many forms.

I agree HOB is just a fancy way of saying 'the most important thing' But to continue this line of thought... perhaps disrupting the enemy's OODA loop, while crucial to achieving victory, isn't the HOB - Victory is? Appreciate your thoughts mate, and your blog 🙏
