If I could pitch on inviting Shan on ILTB: his story is INSANE.
- Grew up a teen during the cultural revolution, was a hard labourer in the Gobi, taught himself English and Math.
- Ended up in the US for uni
- PhD under Janet Yellen.
- Left for IB in his late 30s.

- Now runs PAG, a major PE Asia-focused PE fund.
