I tried creating my own work ritual for a month. It's worked well enough that I feel comfortable recommending it to others.

I think my favourite famous-person ritual is Yasuhiro Yamashita's "cleans room before major Judo tournament" habit. Kosei Inoue does this also, and I think it comes from a samurai-era ritual (should the samurai die in combat, he would not be disgraced by a messy room).
