Perhaps the reason there is no good internal-docs-management software is that everyone who tries gets stuck on the “build a text editor” step

We've seen a bunch of good editors these days - Prosemirror, Slate, Quill, Remirror, DraftJS (I think they all have learning curves)

I haven't tried prosemirror's collaborative editing, but it's hard enough to get all the edge cases right that I would be kind of surprised if it just worked? Especially given that doc management software usually wants to extend/customize the editor.
