Aye. There’s always the risk you get drawn into the original article’s framing of the question, though. I think you could start with “what business are you in?” and then wave away all mention of skin in the game as being irrelevant.
Q: But why is it irrelevant?
A: Because temporality of cash flows dominates this decision! It is the first principle that leads to all the other questions!
