This was an awesome article. Have you read shoe dog? The surface level theme of the book = importance of grit. But deeper lesson was about the mgmt of cash flows and risks of living on the float - timing determines whether the company lives or dies (many close calls to death)

Yup! That's *exactly* what I took away from Shoedog as well.
(And it's what I look for in most business biographies I read to be honest — most people read them for story; I read for clues about capital raising/allocation).
