Crazy Rich Asians is nothing more than a Chinese American fantasy. Once you understand that, you can see why it's so unrepresentative & stereotypical. With Kevin Kwan wanted in Singapore for evading NS, no wonder the book reads like he just googled the city.

Just watched Crazy Rich Asians last night. It's funny how so much effort has to be put just so ppl can know a bit about Singapore although most of the infos are misleading. For example, the best satay can be found in Singapore LOOOOOOLLLL Kah!
