Which led me to realise that — why am I consuming so much 'how-to' content anyway? Most of it ends up in a note-taking app somewhere, never to see attempted practice. Better to attempt to integrate it into my life, and to accept the constraints I have around action.

Re these 2 solutions: I've personally tried widening the bottleneck gradually and it worked for a while until my system couldn't take the stress. I agree with flattening the throughput. Overall a more sustainable solution. Also feels pleasurable, like removing code.
