I'll take this moment to point out that Jessica was an _awful_ mother.

I'll have to reread everything ahead of the movie release now. The story + the universe is too large for me to hold in my head.

Looks like it only covers the first half of the first book, with another movie supposed to cover the last half, but I feel the first three books need to be covered, else too many loose ends.
