Great summary! I think you were a tad harsh re: Ch 11; maybe he was trying to argue against silofication? But I still agree that it was the weakest chapter. (Also, I think you meant " *editorializes a little" :) )

Thanks for the catch! Fixed. :) I reread Chapter 11 twice to try and figure out what he was arguing. Either I'm stupid, or he isn't clear enough, or the point of the chapter is to pad out the page count. I'm not entirely sure which.

Yes, like being a musician, the economics of being a writer is way more compelling when you have other high-margin income streams. Corporate speaking is their live concerts. Epstein, Duhigg, Gladwell, and many non-fiction authors have a dedicated page for this on their sites.
