I wrote a comprehensive 8.9k word summary of Range that is intended to be a replacement for the book: commoncog.com/blog/range-boo
Range is disappointing. It could've been so much more.

Great summary! I think you were a tad harsh re: Ch 11; maybe he was trying to argue against silofication? But I still agree that it was the weakest chapter.
(Also, I think you meant " *editorializes a little" :) )

Thanks for the catch! Fixed. :)
I reread Chapter 11 twice to try and figure out what he was arguing. Either I'm stupid, or he isn't clear enough, or the point of the chapter is to pad out the page count. I'm not entirely sure which.

Yes, nothing is explicitly stated in that chapter but I think being sufficiently vague might be a feature, not a bug; the lucrative corporate speaker circuit could be a motivating factor to shoehorn some organizational behavior into a non-fiction book ;)

Holy crap. So the reason that the second half of Charles Duhigg's Power of Habit is about organisational habits (and is all over the place because the research doesn't map!) is because he wanted the $$$ of the speaking circuit?!
Bloody hell.
