1. It's a professional networking tool, but full of shit content.
2. It's a professional networking tool, and what a great opportunity! So many people posting shit content!
I suspect view (2) is undervalued right now. Thoughts?

I think (2) is true for anyone selling into enterprises - often other social networks are blocked for people so they end up spending a bunch of time on LI.
I don't think eyeballs there for any other segments?

I have a software engineer friend who tells me he gets most of his career-related content from LinkedIn.
I nearly spat out my coffee when he told me that.
There's something weird going on here, and I'm not sure what.

yea, I don't get it either tbh.
I've had a few people tell me that they like that I copy everything I post on Twitter to LI b/c Twitter is blocked at their office so they can just read it at work.
That would explain it to me if that was widespread?
