"So why are you flying back to Singapore?"
"I have a glib answer and a not so glib one."
"What's the glib one?"
"I have an Aeron in Singapore."

Yes! My favourite hack: every n years, big corps in SG have to renew their entire fleet of chairs, due to some ergonomic requirements policy. 2nd hand furniture sellers snap up those chairs. Aerons tend to be pricey (S$500-S$900) in the SG market. But EVERYTHING ELSE isn't.
So: go to Carousell, and search for every other (non-Aeron) chair that is recommended in the Wirecutter office chairs list! I've seen Steelcase Leaps going for S$350-S$500, which is insane, given the MSRP of US$1000 ish.

I was browsing carousell recently actually... Can't find any non-shady deals. Most listings are just ergonomic brand keyword spam
