Reading well-written narrative non-fiction has all the benefits of reading fiction, with the added benefit that some (most?) of it is true.

Have you read 'The Halo Effect'? The title sells the book short because it's more closer to being the OG 'Quality of inputs >> Shoehorning Frameworks' and 'Beware of what sounds insightful'. I wish I had read it sooner—would've saved me from reading faux-profound business books!

Thanks for the reminder btw — I feel the need to reread it once again! PS: I think, perhaps, this is why I feel the need to read narratives first. It's harder to bullshit me with frameworks if I have multiple narratives of the actual events in my head.
