Out of curiosity, I looked at the Timing app to see how long it took me to write this essay. 6783 words; actual writing time was 2h34m yesterday, and 4h11m today. That plus the total time drafting this, reading the books, and reading the papers, probably 48 hours total?

Re-reading and found this: "In other words, moats are always built as a result of strategic savvy"
From my business experience, I think things can develop into a moat as well, even when not originally intended that way. What are your thoughts about purpose-buit vs stumbled upon?

Yes, I've seen moat-like things that happen by accident in my own business experience as well. But 2 things:
True pricing power over a long period is rare, so you have to be super lucky.
Falling into something through luck isn't repeatable, so I often ignore it in writing.
