A few hours later, a friend asked if I thought Singaporeans were less exposed to uncertainty on average than others. I ... had not even given it any thought. But what an interesting question. Are there groups of people you know who are more buffered against uncertainty?

People who have jobs in larger corporations are an obvious one. The Singaporean question is interesting, because it compares exposure to uncertainty across countries.

Oh good one! You remind me of the difference between poker and chess that I think Annie Duke likes to talk about. But I think games don't have uncertainty. They have calculable risk. Uncertainty is risk that is not calculable.
