So today doesn't feel great. It feels a lot less than great. And I've noticed that during these past 3 years of 45, my own tweeting has gone from tech and startups and female entrepreneurship to constant bitching and shock and awe at this administration. Much hand-wringing. 1/

And all of it is warranted. This is hellacious for our country, for progress, for every single American. Even those who voted for Trump or Jill Stein. But at this moment in time, a time of very real fear and panic, I trust you all to carry the hand-wringing mantle for me. 2/

What we need now is many voices -- among those rightly worrying for us and informing us -- who are focused on all that remains good about life. All the innovations that will come from this. All the ways climate change prep may get a head start because of this. 3/

And for my part, I worry about all of my clients. Incredible entrepreneurs who are now faced with a real quandry about what their businesses will look like this month, Q2, 2020 and beyond. I do them no favors by bitching about our President. 4/

And so I'm going to shift gears here. I'd like to inject some hope, creativity, positivity, real-world "running your own business in a wild economy" smarts that I think are desperately needed right now for all of us. 5/
